I think the original question was more of a general wondering, rather than asking "in the history of the world, has a man ever played flute?"

Lwprachaun, I dont know of any proffessional flutiest and would appreciate it if you wouldn`t call me dense. I was forced in to flute for three years. I am now on my fifth year and am just learning about the proffessions of a flutist. As I have said I have choosen music teacher. Sry KC I thought that you might have thought that that was why I was upset. The reason I am upset is because some of ya`ll are being kinda sexist in this whole disscussion. I was just curious if there were any bay flutist out there alive and kicking today and now I know. Please dont call me dense!
