Hey, just wondering if anybody has played or plays an Alto or Bass flute. Does it take getting used to compared to C flutes, is breathing a problem and do they produce student models?

I played one once, and I turned blue.
I guess it doesn`t help that I have terrible asthma.

Kara - TOTALLY off topic here (I apologize), but have you tried Advair or Xolair for your asthma?

Yes, I am on Advair. I need to go back to the doctors though because it hasn`t been working very well lately.

Xolair has made a huge difference in my life. It is injections, and extremely expensive, also, it isn`t for everyone, your doctor would know if your asthma is the type that would respond. Good luck.
