I think flute is absolutely kool.
I am 16 and i`ve been learning it for past 6 months but i am really stuck on music notes.
I want some popular music sheets.
What i mean is some popular songs i know that i can play on my flute.

If anyone knows such a site pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee mail me or if u know any notes 2 popular songs please can u give it 2 me.

I can`t tell you specifically what notes but search for songs written by Jack Stamp for example a song tittled Celebration would bre perfect for you

Well really i am looking for something popular which really i know.
FOr example popular pop songs or maybe popylar classical music.
The book i have has got some pieces of music which i have never ever heard off and i dont enjoy playing them.

sonya - best is to find "busker tune" compilations, or "sing along" books - they will provide a lot of well known tunes that you will enjoy playing as you become more skilled and able to move onto more important pieces. make sure they are in C.

THere`s the shakira song, WHenever, wherever.
I found that on this site under flute riffs.
They also have a prince song and the last one I forgot.

One more thing, as for popular music, goodluck. Flute is more of a classical instrument. You wont find it much in popular music. Usually I cringe at the thought of classical music, but lately I`ve been getting into it. Try listening to Bach Flute Sonatas they`re pretty easy to find. Give it more than one chance though. I didn`t enjoy it at first. But now I can`t stop humming them. Chance`s are you can`t play them, but it will give you something to aim at.

At one point, they had quite a few tunes that someone had taken from guitar and ran though the tab converter. What happened to them, I don`t know, but while they were here they had Kryptonite by Three Doors Down (I played it, and its probably one of the strangest sounding rendentions of that song I ever heard), Toxicity by System of a Down, and a few others. They might still be here, not sure.
