It`s about motivation. Sometimes I feel so untalented at the flute and I really can`t play without hating the sound I hear. Does anyone else feel like this? Do you have any advice or things I should do to get myself out of this hole? Things I could concentrate on doing, exercises that would be useful? Thank you for takin the time to read this.

I go through this everyday, and I`ve been playing for 9 years now. I`m a freshman flute major, and I practice 4 hours a day. It`s frustrating, but with dedication and practice you`ll improve and learn to love your sound.

Maybe I need to change my surroundings when I play? Maybe move to a new room or something? Go down to a secluded area in the park perhaps? What do you think? Or is this just me being dillusional?
