I earlier posted a message that said i had the solo, but it is an easier version. I would appreciate it SO much if someone could send me a copy. I`ve seen copies of the original score on the internet and they cost 40$ plus. I really want to add this piece to my repetoire.

Try calling fluteworld and see if you can order just the flute part to it. That way you don`t have to pay for the whole score. That is how I first purchased mine and it only cost about $5.

Thanks for the post, but that is the easier version of it. The original band version written by Sousa is a bit harder and in a higher key.

My band class is planning on playing this piece later in the year but we have not ordered the music yet. My band director is hoping to have it be a piccolo soli and have the whole section stand and play it. I know that it is difficult and I would really like to get a head start on it so that I make the soli. If someone could email me the harder version I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
