I`m from the U.K. so I don`t thnk it would be a good idea to send a cheque or money. Do you know of any U.K. sites that sell sheet music?

(unless with parental assistance).

And isn`t this key? If the parents wanted her to have it they would arrange for her to have it, even if they made her pay for it herself. They would order it using either a credit card or a check or a money order and have her pay them back.

If her parents are not being helpful in lending her a hand in getting it then she should deal with it and respect their wishes.

None of the pieces she listed should be particularly hard to find online. There is no reason why the average adult could not order it for her. It is not that she can`t get it. It is that her parents don`t want to help her get it.

If her parents actually don`t want her buying things then I doubt that her trying to circumvent that by breaking the law trading illegal copies of music is going to make them very happy.

It`s not that my parents won`t buy it for me, I can`t find it anywhere.I can`t buy from the U.S. because postage will be a lot. I have looked on the internet but all the sites I found were American.

I forget, you are in England? There are definitely flute dealers in England (and many, many other countries). Where ever you are it would be a surprise if there were no flute dealers at all in your country. Look up the number of one and call them.

Even if they don`t have it listed on the internet they probably either carry the music or can order it and send it to you.

I special order music all the time to be delivered to my home directly from stores in other cities and towns. You just have to make a couple of phone calls.

Composers    21:29 on Thursday, July 28, 2005

The Snowman – Howard Blake
Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies – Tchaikovsky
Musical Joke – Mozart
Liberty Bell - John Philip Sousa
Phantom of the Opera - Andrew Lloyd Webber
Crown imperial - William Walton

I can’t recommend any specific books, but call and tell them what you want and they should be able to tell what they can get that has them. You may get lucky and they may be able to find you books that contain more than just one of these.

Hey, I have a lot of those pieces. If I get a chance to go to my friends house this week then I will scan them for you. I don`t have a scanner or else I would do it now.

www.justflutes.com is a Croydon based company from whom you can order online. I`ve used them before and they are reliable.

Angelgirl, I would check the US postage prices again carefully. Because the dollar is weak at the moment, we in the UK get a very good deal ordering from America. I would also remind you of justflutes which i referred to earlier.

I got a lot of them off justflutes and i think you very much for telling me about the website. The only one they dont have is `crown imperial` do you find it hard finding certain music in shops here or is it just my bad luck? LOL
