I finally made first flute in the Senior Concert Band!! It`s like, the best concert band at my school. I`m so excited! My sister Evie has been 1st clarinet for the past year.

Yippee!

Oh, yeah, I just thought I`d say that I`m in high school and we have two bands that have flutes, senior and junior. I`m in my second year of high school, and the music co-ordinator said it was a `great achievement`. Cool!

Shouldn`t this be in a separate thread?

Yes, I do know some `hard songs` if you`re referring to those of Grade 8/9 ABRSM ie. Technically difficult as opposed to those that are difficult to play well. Also, you don`t specify whether you want concerto`s or folk pieces. Ah well... here goes...
Pergolesi-Concerto in G (Probably my favourite concerto)
Mozart-Concerto in G NO. 1
" - " " D No. 2
Poulenc-Flute Sonata (You have to be extremely technically able to carry this one off).
Gossec-Tambourin (tradition Irish folk piece, extremely fun to play if you can).

Enjoy.
