is a yamaha 371 worth $2000 as you can probaly see im really new to this and i dont want to order off the internet and this is the cheapest flute they had in my local music shop

The only difference between 371 and 311 is that the 371 has open holes. They both have off-set G and split E. They will both play the same.

Im in Ireland and its like 1750 euro so thats about $2000 i think but i dont really want to order off hte net cause my freind spent a lot of money buying a flute and never got it but lost all the money. Anyway thanks for the advice i think ill just have to look further than my local shop

I have a yamaha 311 (closed holes) which i had from ebay for £300. In my local shop it was £825 Just look around until you find a good offer!

Hey its o.k i found a place on the net thats about two hours away but they have hte YFL 371 for €1040 so thats about $1090 or something. Thats a saving of over €700
