Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone good recommend a good flute and piccolo bag. Mine finally broke after 13 years. I would like one that would be able to carry my tuner, flute stand and some music if possible.

Thanks!

oooo i`m looking for a decent one too that can fit both plus stand and music ect the only ones i`ve seen so far that are anywhere near decent are the actual Gig bags but the stitched ones i had to enquire as to if it fit the flute and picc in at the same time lol but it does so i suppose id recomend that but if your not crazy about the colours then you can get some really nice leather bags. Good Luck finding one!!

I use an Olathe Bag, and it works GREAT! It`s on FluteWorld for $60. Not cheap, but REALLY nice!

Altieri bags are nice secure bags that can hold a professional length flute case, big black music folder, and many many accessories they have heavy insulated padding in the bags that protect against extreme temperatures and drops.

Cavallero bags are just as nice, I have their case cover, but I think their fuzzy plush would be a mess for a flute "bag". It`s like Christmas tree skirt material. They do make a non-lined version, but the lining is nice security.

For music stands K+M makes a couple bags for music stands that can be slung over the shoulder. One for a Hamilton wire type and another for those heavy duty tube type fold-up stands.

I made a bag and lined it and saved a lot of money.

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance too! Lol! (I love those commercials!)

I recommend going to a good luggage store and buying a briefcase with a shoulder strap, I had one by TUMI once, held everything, now I have a lawyers style briefcase.
