just because you have a quality flute, that does not make your playing better.
i have a student flute, and i`m first chair out of 26-27 flutes.

I have a professional Flute. My highest note is Bb, my lowest note is Db. I play through the whole range every day at school. I play the high Bb on scales and the low Db on scales as well.
