This is just my opinion, but I have to say that I think that those flutes are so ugly!!!
I am really not sure if I would call it rose brass. It looks to be just brass plated. I can`t imagine that it would sound all that great, but hey.. who knows?
I would be weary of the quality of that flute. If you take a good look at the emboucure hole, it looks like it was just stamped out.
Another reason I would be weary of trusty this brand is because they offer cork grease for the tennons.
You think that if someone knew enough about making flutes that they would know better.

I find the look of that particular quite beautiful, however it is a no-name brand being sold on Ebay. I wouldn`t risk it unless you had money to burn.

Thanks guys! I wasn`t interested in buying it, it just piqued my curiosity. I had never heard of a rose brass flute before. There really are some, ummm, "interesting" flutes being sold on ebay. LOL!

I agree, I wouldn`t buy some brand I hadn`t heard of from ebay. Anyhow, I noticed that the flute looks like rose gold (which is an accepted flute material), perhaps the advertiser ment that (it`s being sold from Australia... maybe that makes a difference?). Rose gold produces a significantly warmer and deeper tone than your typical silver flute, but it is very dependant on the instrumentalist. If you ever consider getting a rose gold flute (which I have played, and liked), I highly reccomend playing it and comparing it to others before buying.

It is not rose gold, it is copper plated.

Oops, I meant brass not copper.
There is quite a difference between rose gold plated and brass.
I can`t imagine it sounding to good though.
