Does anyone use these? Do they really help? I just bought some and I had a question - is it ok for me to store my flute in its case with the Bo Peps attached? Or do you think that the Bo Peps would raise the flute too much in its case? Would it harm my flute if it was to close to the lid and the lid was pushing down on the keys or anything like that? (I don`t know if it even actually does this since I cannot see inside my case once the lid is shut. LOL! But I was just imagining that it might.).

many of my younger students use them, especially on the right hand, you have to take them off the flute when not in use though

Just make sure you put a little bit of tape on the bottom of the Bo Pep because they can easily scratch your flute up.

My newest flute is a heavy wall model that sports a C# trill, and I quickly realized after playing it the first time that it had a tendency to roll inward on me because of the xtra weight. Another flutist suggested the Bo-pep thumbrest, so I gave it a shot and have never taken it off. It adds much more stability to the instrument. Do put some tape on the bottom of it though because the hard plastic leaves fine scratches. And yes, I leave it on even in the case.
