Hello all. As a piccolo player (not for very long) i find that when i try to play in the mid-high range (aound 2nd G to the c# right above) my piccolo makes a weird "bubbling" noise, almost like a fluttering? Any ideas? Its a yamaha ypc32, and i dont see anything very wrong. Thanks!

It sounds like you have a leak. Is is kind of like a buzzing sound at all? Your best bet is to take it into a repair tech.

A pad/key is not sealing or a spring is weak. The bubbling sound is from it opening and closing kinda fast from air pressure blowing the key open.

Have it repaired.

Why does everyone have to repeat what I just said? Can you not read?

Be nice, Be nice...I won`t repeat what Kara just said...She`s right. That happened with my Yamaha piccolo a year or two ago and the repairman had it fixed in no time.

123456, (or whatever you are going by this time) not much explanation is needed. If you have a leak, then it is obvious that the key pad is not sealing. Not too hard!

I wasn`t just referring to you repeating me either, it has been on other posts. People like to take my ideas and make it sound as if they came up with it. It is mostly people that would like to think they sound like they know what they are talking about, but in reality don`t.

Thank you Jessie.

1234567, your moniker does not allow a personal relationship to develop. Anything you have written in the forum is moot. So long as you use such a name expect to treated like a stranger unless you take part in the forum on a more active basis to allow people over look the "1234567" moniker.

Maybe think of something that is synonymous with your personality or a pet name. SOMETHING. I know you`ve posted here a while, but I have no idea "who" you are in any essence because of that name.

I kinda like it that way. If I posted under a regular name I made it would not really have an effect on my posts.
Ok I give ill use this name from now on just to make you happy.
