O.k I play a YFL371 which is open hole and offset G .One problem, I broke my fingers some time ago and now my forth finger is slightly shorter than it should be.I know you can get key extenions but I was wondering if I can get one for G key and still have the G open

Well... that`s a tough one. If you cannot cover the hole with your finger completely you really need to permanently cover the hole and have the key leveled to compensate for that.
An extension is really where you would put your finger outside of the normal key center.
You may do well to just close that one hole and then if that is uncomfortable add an extension on top of that.

I agree with Piko. There is no reason to really keep that G key open if you are having troubles with your fingers anyway. Why make it any harder then it really is. If you want your G# key longer you can get a false finger nail and super glue it on. It may not look pretty, but it works like a charm. I got that one from Jen Cluff.
By the way, if you don`t like it on there and want to take it off, simply put nail polish remover on it and it will take off the glue.
I make key extentions for open holes that just plug into the hole, so you can pop it in or out. The G# can also have an extentions added and soldered on if need be.
