Are these flute and piccolos good? I am just wondering if they play and weel. They look nice but do they play well? Has anybody own any of theses fine flutes?

The flute professor at my university plays on a Burkhart and loves it, but you should test one out for yourself and see what you think.

They are beautiful flutes. If you call up, ask for Brian, he will give you all the information that you need and can set a trial up for you.
We are so lucky now a days because we now have such a vast variety of really good flute brands to choose from. You really can`t go too wrong with any of the handmade flutes.

I concur, they make an excellent piccolo, one model is available for under $3,000 and plays as well as some more expensive piccs on the market

Are you talking about the Global piccs? They are wonderful!

You suggested I look into a Burkart or Boston Legacy, would you say the tone & scale are equal?

Both scales are good, but I think that the Burkart uses a better one.
As far as tone, Burkart rules over the Boston Legacy for my taste. It really is a taste preference. What one may like, the other one might not.
