Hello, if anyone could help me it would be appreciated.
i`m learning on an older flute that hasnt been used in 10 yrs, everything was going good till i tried to play an F and it sounds the same as a G. any note lower than a G sounds like a G. pressing hard is not helping. just wondered if this was common or not, and i`m hoping there might be a quick fix. thanks alot ~crystal

Best thing to do is have a repairman go over it. After 10 years, it could use it. Maybe your G# key. The left pinkey key is staying open /down.

For naming purposes, the key immediately above the F key, is called the F# key.
If G works fine, sounding as a G, and your F fingering also sounds as a G, then I would suggest that it means that the F# key is not being pushed down by the F key, as it should.
There could be several causes. Best to see a technician.

Hey now, that is not funny making fun of a person that has a hard time spelling. She could be dyslexic.

OK, If we could help:
"i`M NOT DISLEXIC.
ENGLISHE IS A 5TH LANGUITCH TO ME."
Should be spelled with a I`m (Use a capital I) For two reasons in this case.
Check spelling of Dyslexic, not as dislexic. Funny thing about English, It`s not as phonetic as some would expect it to be. Or It`s not as nearly as phonetic as French.
In English speaking countries, the word ENGLISHE is spelled: English.
In English speaking countries, the word LANGUITCH is spelled: Language.
I believe that you should say that English is a fifth language for me and not "To me" in this case. Also, we don`t capitalize every letter in the English language. I believe that your caps lock button was depressed by accident.
So it would be better as:
"I`m not dyslexic. English is a fifth (or 5th)language to me."
So, what are the other four languages then? Just curious.
Respectfully,
~Bilbo
