Hello All..after not playing for 25 years I just recieved a new Sky flute for xmas. To my amazement I can still play alittle. Although some notes sound flat to me...Does anyone know anything about this particular make...do flutes in general come in tune? And does anyone happen to have some Marshall Tucker?

Sky flutes are one of the poorly made flutes being sold on ebay. Because they are poorly made, intonation will be a problem and many repairs will be needed to put it in proper working order---if proper working order is even attainable. Most repair technicians won`t repair instruments of this quality, as it would be a waste of money and time. There have been many threads about this topic before, and I don`t think anyone here wants to get into it again.

That was a pretty harsh response, Megan. Sure, Sky flutes aren`t made to a good standard of quality, but there are other ways to break the news without telling the woman her new Christmas flute is crap. Oy.
