I didn`t even know that Pearl offered headjoints with 10K lip with a Platinum Riser. That sounds nice.

Yes they do and it`s wonderful! The link is below to check them out. Hey I just saw your message to me about my other flute. My Pearl PF-521. You told me to have it checked for leaks....Cause I couldn`t get out Eb, F, F#, and G7. There aren`t any leaks. The Eb7-G7 are 7 spaces above the staff and up! I don`t think that flute will EVER get those notes out! Now the new pearl! my coda can get them all out. Especially with the crisp platinum riser. I think I want a Forte Headjoint also, though. For my "Large Sound" works you know! I think I will get that one in either 14K or 18K with a Platinum Riser. I recommend it!

P.S. The headjoint cost 3x what the Flute cost me with it`s own original headjoint. Maybe I should sell it and make some money back? HAHAHAHAAH!!!!

How were you able to get a 10K lip with a platinum riser? Usually if is is solid 10K the riser is too, so I am confused??? I have never heard of that before.

To be honest I am not sure Kara. That`s what I asked for, and that`s what they gave me. Maybe the riser is plated over the gold? I don`t think it means solid platinum riser...I think it`s plated. It says on their site that you can mix and match things. So when I called them up I asked for that, and they said ok.
