Greetings, all! I`m considering the purchase of a Muramatsu EX or GX. I`d love to receive any comments you would care to share about those flutes, or Muramatsu flutes in general.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn`t make a final decision until you try the Powell though...

A lot of people are drawn to the Muramatsu in the beginning because of the ease it takes to play one. Just a thought.

Annika, you say you really like your Yamaha. What other brand of flutes have you tried and what level are you of playing, so we can get better idea.

Hey CatMan,

Well guess what happened yesterday? The keys on my PICCOLO seized up this time. So the problems HAS to be me and not the flute. My repair tech said the area of the mechanism my fingers come in contact with can easily be treated prevent this from happening. This is so strange though, it never happened before. I guess something in my physiology changed?

Anyway, I thought you`d be interested to know my ordeal was not a manufacturing error.

Hi tim! I`m sorry to read about your troubles with your picc, but thanks for sharing the additional info. Maybe you need to get all of your instruments gold plated and see what happens, LOL!
