There is an advertised device: http://www.bigio.com/stoppersandcrowns.html.

This device is reported to improve the sound and also is a replacement for the traditional cork in the headjoint.

One of several assessment is: "Flute players are amazed (and I continue to be amazed) how the sound of a flute changes when these gadgets are fitted. Players who use them have said their flutes have become louder, smoother and more responsive."

Does anybody of you, experienced Flute performers has tested this device? Or has an opinion on it that you would like to share with the Forum?
