My word people are so rude on this website! A good flute player can make ANYTHING sound good. J.C., Reenie, go take a Valium or something...

Lol!!! She did say that she played a first act flute before. I wonder how it got changed to a Yamaha 211? Good choice by the way.

I can`t even remember the student brand that I bought this last year...I returned it only because I think it was made for a student`s hands...my hands are huge, so my fingers were totally in the wrong place. The main point is....I put a different headjoint on it, and voila! It played great. It was even closed hole and C foot. I think it was Borg brand...whatever they sold at Sam`s Club one time. I wish I had smaller hands. I might have had a decent flute for 130 bucks or something. Of course if you don`t have a headjoint that`s pretty good you might run into a little bit of a monetary deficiency after buying one!

BTW...if you read her Flute Survery you would see that she has 3 Flutes. She didn't "change" the brand name.
