The extremely durable plastic, ABS resin, (I've dropped it on many occasions) & silver plated keys.
Do you like it?
Yes I do, it was extremely affordable and plays like a really good student flute. It almost sounds like the wood piccolo at my school.
What is your dream piccolo?
Lately I've been reading about a 14K rose gold headjoint and keys, and a wood body, from Burkart and Phelan. That would be awesome to have.
Anything else about your piccolo you want to mention?
The case really sucks.

Honestly, I don't think I'm any good, just your average sophomore flute player. Others (directors and lesson teachers) have told me I could outplay seniors and college players if I wanted to. However, I don't believe them, so I think I'll work harder to earn my keep.

I can play crazy fast. My director makes fun of me for rushing... A LOT.

I have loved music since I was a child and one of my dreams has been to be my school's marching band majorette. That dream came true a few weeks ago and I got my gold-plated whistle in the mail just last week! I am looking forward to finishing my degree for musical education in a few years and becoming the band director I always wished I had. (I have had a new director/professor every year of my musical career... it's quite sad! )
<Added>Oh, I have a piccolo too...
It's a Yamaha, plastic body... it used to be the school's until I bought it... it's pretty beat up, but I love it still! I don't know much more about it...
