Micron,
I would love to hear the story sometime about your Haynes flute and how it got to be run over by a car. I always wonderered about that. I wonder if it played more in tune after it was ran over. Lol!!

Micron, I think you show great insight into how the incident affected you.

I had a similar epiphany about emotional attachment, but it was about a job. Never again will I "define" myself through my job!

I am attached to the flute and not just my flute. I don't care if it is just an object. That object is part of me and flows through my veins if I like it or not. I understand where you are coming from Micron, but I tend to see it a little bit differently.
