I have a CD by Emerald Web that has some nice bass flute passages. The title of the CD is "Manitee Dreams of Neptune" and the 3rd track ("Manitee Dreams") has quite a bit of bass flute.

u can hear bass flute in many movie soundtracks, and on TV soundtracks, some shows, some orchestral works, many flute ensemble pieces

I had never heard it before(knowing it's a flute). It reminds me of peruvian indian flutes and also the horn sound. I suppose that's not an easy instrument to play, or is it?
