I saw on the last post that you are comming to tallahassee in the fall. Are you comming to attend FSU? I'm working on my undergrad now at FSU and I love it
That'd be awesome to be in the same studio

Yeah I am coming in the fall. I responded to the Interlochen post about it, but I will repost here. I am going to start in the fall for Clarinet and Music Education. I also want to do the Commercial Music in my Junior Year. I might send in a CD in the next week or so for entry in the fall Flute Performance category. I want to do it all at the same time so I don't feel like I have to concentrate on one certain instrument more than the other. What did you play for your audition if I may ask? I am not sure what to do for mine. I was a jerk and did the Nielsen Clarinet Concerto for my Clarinet audition. I think I scared everyone there that heard it! I was thinking about doing the Nielsen Flute Concerto, or Muczynski Sonata. I've been working on both, but I think the Nielsen might hinder me in that audition. I am more "classical" on the clarinet. That's probably why I like Nielsen, and Muczynski...

I'm a freshman Music Ed. major right now. I played Piece by Faure and the Sonata in D Major by Blavet for my audition.

that's awesome! I haven't heard of The Blavet piece. I just sat down with some Bach Sonatas, and I might do No. 4. I really like that one. I might also take a Rhonda Larson piece. I really like her style of writing.
