The noise is coming from pressing the keys down?
If there are silencers missing (cork, felt, or other) you will get more noise when the keys go back.
Harder felt pads will make noise if you are slapping the keys closed.
Most nosiy mechanism are caused by "play" (looseness) in the mechanism. This is the majority of moise other than silencers that have fallen off.
That can be quieted by using some oil. But you have to do it right and put it in the right place or you can make a mess...
