sounds amazing lol and the beach well that sounds cool too lol there isnt much to do where i live music wise in the summer cos all my bands finish at the end of term and the beach well its cold and dirty and urrgh plus its about 40 miles away (not exactly in walking distance ) lol

Unless you thought someone was cute in the band! Then you would invite them along to the beach also!

In my band camp we go to this beach area place..and we would march in this field they have..and during our free time we would swim it's pretty cool..i think i'll be going this year. there's a LOT of cute guys in band though...really CUTE drummers^_^

I'll trade ya! I live a 5 minute walk from the beach...I hate it! Too sensitive to the sun to care anything about the sand that I eat!

Sand! Gah... Thank goodness I live somewhere where it snows almost all year round... Well, I would trade some of the snow for palm trees, but that is about it! I don't like sand at all. I was in Puerto Rico a few weeks ago and I went swimming in the ocean for the first time; I still had sand in my hair when I came back a week later!
Summer band camp where I live is fun. Always hot (when it isn't snowing) but the people where I live love their parades and the marching bands and people are invited to come and watch the incoming musicians from younger grades be "trained in" to our band program. It's always fun...
My band has been a part of that Disney band thing a few years ago. I didn't go, but I heard it was fun... you have to let us know how that goes for you!

Band camp just not a tradition here at all, which is a little bit of a shame. When I was at school I once went to a residential week with a band. We were six miles from the nearest shop, the pub down the road was derilict, even if we could have snuck all those fifteen year olds in. It was amazing

We now know a new word that won't get censored! More on the subject, though. I was the first in my school to do a band camp. I had won a scholarship to one, and had never heard of band camp before. Of course that was in the 7th grade. I went every year after that! FSU has an outstanding band camp. Florida Southern College has a great one also!

Yea..when i heard the B!**! word...i was like 0_0 whoa there. My spanish teacher had a accent and when ever she said the word beach it sounded like the b word...yea.
I CAN"T WAIT TO DO band camp this summer. i'm also getting a job t a day care center...taking of kids. DrEAm job for schoolgirl. I think i'll do a flute camp at a near by university and ..also the band camp our school is having. it's all marching though...

it was something our bd made a joke of ad band camp. the back had a falcon with a piccolo (falcons are our schools things)

I'm looking for ideas for our shirts this year... I'm thinking there aren't going to be too many piccolos this year though, actually I'm fearing it may just be me:S
