I would have a purple flute, because that's my favourite colour and it would match most of my clothes! That'd be quite cool, but would look a bit odd I suppose... don't think I'd actually get one ever, but maybe if I was rich I would as a spare one just to play at home.

I would have a metallic blue coloured flute. I would even play on it in concerts. "The man with the Metallic Blue flute." Is there a way to make a colored flute so that the coloring doesn't come off when you rub it? Maybe you can dip it, not on the inside of course, and then lacquer the outside of it. Make it a little harder to rub off. I would invest in a flute like that. Especially a professional one.

Even though I agree that flutes like these are not really the best of quality, I would have to have a purple one, because that would match my school colors and it would be fun to use it for pep band and stuff. I agree with the idea to have a flute that changed colors depending on the note and mood! That would be so cool! I would have my flute smell like fresh cut grass and new books and ink and peppermint (but not all at once, because that would be like mixing all the paint colors together and getting brown!) It would be checkered in little glittering gems of all sorts of colors and it would always be in tune. And, when I would play, people would hear different sorts of music depending on what they felt and it would sound beautiful!
(I am just letting my mind ramble... I have the flute of my dreams, my D.C., and I don't need a flute that has magic powers or smells like grass... Where would I find one, anyway? )

I don't think I could have my flute smell like food; I would only get hungry! I love that smell, right when you walk into a bookstore, so if I could smell that all the time, I would be such a happy person (not that I am not happy right now!)
