You have pointed out that when people say "i" they really mean "I" and "r" actually means "are".

Anyone who couldnt figure that out for themselves has to be completely stupid.

I believe your question has been answered many times over in this thread iamjesus. No need to be rude to anyone when we are trying to work on resolving a generation gap.

As far as the word g.ay goes, I can actually answer that one too. A lot of the younger generations use that word in a semi-deragatory sense, although it is not being directed love/relationship preferences. Now days if someone says "That's g.ay!" they usually mean, lame, dumb, or stupid. There was actually a movie director/writer who was fined for having the phrase in his movie, and he had to remove it before it's official worldwide release. For the record, it is hard to type about that subject while trying to use words that won't get filtered!

I had no idea about that use of g.a.y! But as this is really a rather particular aception of the word, it is surpsing that the filter can catch it because of that meaning!.
This filter must have direct a connection with the slang and lingo dicts to be so effective (and a little bit exagerated, I could add).
