I believe your question has been answered many times over in this thread iamjesus. No need to be rude to anyone when we are trying to work on resolving a generation gap.
As far as the word g.ay goes, I can actually answer that one too. A lot of the younger generations use that word in a semi-deragatory sense, although it is not being directed love/relationship preferences. Now days if someone says "That's g.ay!" they usually mean, lame, dumb, or stupid. There was actually a movie director/writer who was fined for having the phrase in his movie, and he had to remove it before it's official worldwide release. For the record, it is hard to type about that subject while trying to use words that won't get filtered!
