im in need of a flute solo that can be played with band or orchestra (NO CHAMINADE, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I think there is an arrangement of the Telemann A minor suite for flute/band, not sure, ask flute world

What do you think of the piece that I sent to you? It is not too difficult for the solo part, but the band has got to be pretty good at following the director or else it can be a disaster.

well... i need the difficulty in the solo part. the accompaniment doesnt really matter as theyll be working on it rather hard. its a concerto competition with the local youth symphony orchestra/wind ensemble which im an active member in both. oddly enough, i practice the piece for about half an hour and i got the piece up to about 130. i want something that i will cringe at, but equally as beautiful. thats why i said orchestra and/or band accompaniment was fine. flute fresco sounds cool though, i must say! and thank you for the time to send it to me, it just wasnt challenging enough for me.

any other suggestions?

or other suggestions would be nice.... something of the same level of difficulty or harder though.

ex: hangarian fantasy by doppler is closer to the same difficulty as concerto in e minor BUT the swan by saint-saens is not. you know what i mean?
