nyahahah! yep, creepy
anyways, congratz toni.
i had this concert last night with my dad.
i played the piano.
but i didn't play the flute yet, i'm not really good enough...
you know guys, i get really amazed when i hear your stories about concerts or highschool bands that play really good.
and i'm happy for it.
when i was highschool, the schoolband wasn't even aware that they were out of tune
it's depressing coz most members are not even interested in playing music, they only want to use the band to catch some attention and get famous
<Added>oh my! i got too emotional on that one,
i tend to mention a lot of stories sometimes!:) nevermind that last one, lol!
anyways, congratz again toni!:)
<Added>and about that creepy thing i said on the first part.
it wasn't about lera.(^_^)
it was about those previous posts.
sorry i forgot to mention.
(^_^)

Here, here.... I actually had to address the band before the spring concert a few weeks ago. I was so embarassed and even a little scared because I had never talked to all of the band students from all our bands before, but, as the majorette, I had to help the director. Everyone was talking and our director was just about to walk out of the room out of exasperation (he is a new teacher and I don't think he realizes how that DOESN'T help) and we had a concert in less than 15 minutes! I was polite and kind, but everyone knew it had gotten bad if I had to talk to them. After that, the freshman at least were quiet... They don't really know how much power a majorette holds! *holds thumb and index finger a milimeter apart*
I really don't like having to do that....
I feel the same way, too, even in my college band and community band; I just wonder why some people are in musical groups if they are going to be consistantly disrespectful. But, it's spring (I know that is no excuse) but it happens every year. The weather turns nice and people can't focus. Thank goodness for marching band because then people can actually have the choice of paying attention indoors or having to go out onto the street and listen to my whistle... I would chose indoors if I was not me!
Just don't worry too much about it, schoolgirl! Soon, summer will be here and then everyone will relax a little! Spring always brings so much stress!
