The piccolo case I have been using took a pretty hard fall the other day (thank goodness it was only the case!) and now one of the latches has snapped off as a result of the fall. I was wondering if anyone has ever had to pay for a fix on their flute case (like a latch) and about how much it cost. (Or if anyone has ever fixed their latch/case themselves and how it worked for them!)

Piccolo cases are pretty cheap, it would probably be the same cost just to get a new one. Email me with your address and I will just send you a new one.

Thank you so much, jose luis! I am using the firewall that comes with Win XP, and, so far, it has been doing well. I am working on getting to a computer clinic soon to buy an AV (downloading a program on dial up doesn't work very well; it always kicks me off before I get something fully loaded and then I have to start over! Gah!) and I am going to take out my old one. The problem is that it is just too out of date and the updates are not coming in; I gave up on it. It should be fine for old viruses, but it can't combat anything new. Your AV suggestion sounds good, though, and I'll try that and, hopefully, everything will come out okay!

Thank you again! No problem on the late response!

sorry, this was not correct: "...full version but that only works for 30 days"
The free trial version will not stop working after 30 days, but you will not be able to update it without a valid license after this period expires.
Without updating, the AV will protect your PC less and less until it becomes useless.
It is true that downloading long files with dialup is almost imposible.

Try downloading with a friend's wideband connection and making a copy of the file on CD. The last time I did, the file was "transportable" (before installing).
