I tried today to get an insurance for my Yamaha but my Agent at the insurance company said that musical instruments cannot be insured in Spain (only when they are at home, being part of the house contents, but not while on travel, in hotels, etc.).

She me told that some musicians in Spain have insured their instruments in London.

What is your experience on this issue? (being a delicate issue, I would appreciate any information you think can be provided safely here and of course I will understand if some details are not given).

However, the names of some companies that would insured my flute (in USA o Europe) are welcome.

Thanks Patrick and Flutist06.

I tried to get a quote from Clarion, just in case, but the Form in the "get a quote" page does not allow me to continue to second step. (it does not like my zip code or any code I could write there).

So I will see for another insurance company.

I would be very thankful if anybody else could give more references other than Clarion

Thanks!
