OOOHh! there was a composing class in my middle school and they got to compose songs and record. I didn't take it though...
BUt i did record songs on a CD..it was 3 years ago. It isn't that great but my B.D had this new recording thingy so he recorded my flute playing with a piano accompianst. It's not AMAZING..becasue it was a quick sightreading then okay recording thing. One day only thing.

BUT i do wish i could make a CD right now and give it to my friends and family..if only i had the opportunity.
I did record myself on a cassestte..but that was for fun. ANd it wasn't a great recording system. It was very fuzzy in the backround..: ) ahhh...

emz, that is great, not only will you have fun and learn more about music, but you will have the chance to learn about the music business

I am doing some recording this summer in NYC and I always invite students to watch, they really like it and it makes it more like a performance when there are people there

congratz!
that is really nice.
i also did some recording, but not on flute playing(im still not good enough),
i kinnda did some singing...
and it feels really weird singing inside a booth, just yourself, a headset and a mic.
it was quite an experience, especially when you hear the final mixing of your own song.i really love that part! it feels like you are able blend with what you used to hear, you have become an instrument of music.
it's really a nice feeling.
