YES WE ARE!!!! My flute teacher, however, was at one point bald. And she`s a she. However, we ARE the best looking, funniest, psychoest and smartest ones AND the most talented musicians. Except the ones at my school in Sad Band 1 and Sad Band 2 as I like to call them. I have to teach the flute players, because my music teacher is a trumpet player and she knows so much, she thinks you need less air to hit the low notes, as well as to play quieter. WRONG! You never need less air EVER! And you need more air to play the high notes and a smaller embouchure. WE FLUTE PLAYERS IS THE SEXIEST!!! Just remember, if you wanna look good and be 100X smarter, GET A FLUTE IN YOUR HANDS!!!

Well, folks, I am the ONLY male flute player in my entire 166 member band. And, I must say, 99% of the players in my flute section are very cute. Of course, they all hate me, but its all good. Just the other night we had a big christmas concert, and all the girls were wearing their black dresses (which are our uniforms.) My did they look cute. Unfortanatly for me, however, the boys wear a tux for a uniform, so the drummers were looking more handsoome than ever that night.... grrr. Of all the instruments I could have fallen in love with, I had to choose the flute...

Flutes…well, no. They all develop this strange mouth thing, I don`t like that. And nor the trumpets, they get so tense around the mouth. Saxophonist…well, now we can start talking.

well, if you`re a guy looking at my section (i`m an oboist) maybe you`d think different. It`s just me and another girl. But the clarinet guys are who seem to catch my eye!

Hey James, about male flute players... my bf plays flute and he is not only hot, but also funny, talented, and very sweet.
As to other instruments... Trumpet players are ok, but usually a little egotistical. Drummers are strange, but fun to be around. Clarinetists have an awesome sense of humor (usually), saxophones are a little hard to classify, and low brass are either immensely stupid or incredibly talented.
Ps. I play clarinet, flute, piano, and xylophone.

Scarlett, just because you are a boring musician doesn`t mean you can tell the rest of us what we think.

Well, I believe that we can all tell by this post that not only are flutes the best looking but they are also the most intelligent - so intelligent that they post intelligent-sounding messages on the internet about how stuck-up they are. And this proves too that flute players are excellent and mature people overall besides the very obvious fact that they ALL play very well in tune (constantly) and can sight read better than any other instrumentalist on the planet. And I think also that drummers should be judged on their attractiveness by the personalities that they portray rather than the instrument that they play or the niceness of their faces.

OMG, please trumpets do not make up the whole band you idiot. For the most part no one makes up a band except the band. Get it through your head( I bet your last chair dont lie to yourself. Someone who only listens to their section and their instrument probably dont listen to the band, so the band then sux) it only takes 1 to mess it up DONT LIE ABOUT YOUR CHAIR
