This argument is (at least in my case) irrelevant, as proven by

Mason`s Law of Band Practice Attraction
which states that if you spend enough time with your section (usually about half way through the marching band season or so), the members of the opposite sex in your section will begin to appear attractive, regardless of outside opinion. Thus, you probably can`t gauge anything by the comments on this thread.

I think we are pretty good looking........I am a flute and I ran for homecoming princess. Also our section leader ran for homecoming queen and was princess her junior year. We have only two hot guys in our band. One is a trumpet the other a drummer. I do think, though, that we flutes are prettiful.

Oh yeah, the flutes are the hottest thing in the band.Well some of the baritones are cute,but the drummers r really cute.

drummers are my faborite lol even tho im a flute lol from my experience flutists and drummers are very compatable

the trumpets -_-" , tuba is [dotdotdot], flutes are very hot (well, they`re mostly girls), saxes are not at all appealing, and the clarinets are fine

why do people always put flutes with girls. i am a guy and a ver good flute player and i seem to be the only male one in my town, the girld i preform with are cute and im not bad either take away the flute and we seem less atractive its the shiny silverness that makes us hot.

It seems to me that you all join band just to rate how the other sections look. Hopefully once you get older you will appreciate the music, not how "hott" someone is.

I was just going to say I had one male flute player in my flute section in highschool and he was HOT i mean the hottest guy in school let alone the band. He`d rock climb and was buff too and he`d play this pettite instrument! he played good too he liked marching band and that`s where he was really hot in tanks!

in my band, the bass clarinet player is really hot, and thats it. we have a small band though. (3 flutes 3 clarinets 1 bass clarinet 1 trumpet 1 trombone 1 sax(me) and 4 percussion)

Flutests are hot; I`m one but I`m currently crushing over our drummer!
