for me, it's better to wear sweaters than wishing to be naked because of the heat!!

Our rabbit is always outside, summer and winter. Normally though, our climate isn't as extreme as your's. I say normally because we just had a three week heatwave. Although as far as heat is concerned, it's probably better to be outside than in, as none of the houses have air-con here.
He coped pretty well (at least according to the neighbor who looked after him) we do always make sure he has plenty of water, and that his hutch is in the shade. He also has a large marble slab in his hutch, which is nice and cool.
Rabbits can usually stay outside all year round, provided they have a well build hutch, with a small night compartment with plenty of straw and hay for the cold. It can actually be dangerous to bring a rabit who is used to being outside into the house, as their fur adjust to the climate, so they could catch cold if brought into an airconditioned home from the heat outside, of get heatshock when brought in from the cold.
If your rabbits are used to being indoors, they'll be fine of course.

If you are ever near Little Rock I will give you one. Lol! Nah...I am just kidding. ANOTHER stray kitten keeps on flying in our house. Ugh! If I keep on taking these cats in, I will end up with 20 cats in 5 more years! I wish people would just take care of thier animals around here. <Added>If you want to see some of them, there are pictures of them on my site.
