Normally trumpets are Bb instruments, yes. They do exist in other keys, but Bb is by far the standard. The word "horn" is a generic term used to refer a musical instrument (especially brass instruments, and specifically the French horn). Any wind instrument might be referred to as a horn, but technically speaking, saxophone is not a horn, as that distinction lies with the French and English variety. I can't speak for the strings, not being a string player, though I believe at least the violin and cello are in C.

I like Johnny as Jack because he is funnier than Orlando, but Orlando does good wit hero and action stuff.

All strings are in the key of C...they are all considered non-transposing instruments

Yes, partly. Each string has a different beginning note. This is determined by the thickness of the string and then the tension for tuning. Eventhough there is a G string...when a violinist plays that G string open (just the string with no fingers on the fingerboard) it sounds as a G. A violinist and a flutist both playing Gs will sound the same. That is where the non-transposing instrument comes in. Violins have 4 strings to help with the range of the instrument. It's almost, but not quite, like saying the first octave of the flute is one "string" and the second is another, and so on. I hope this clears you up.

That is true, however the flute/oboe/bassoon..even Tuba...would all beplaying a G scale also...and they are all in the key of C...

I was thinking about it...trying to decide whether to go to a dark brown color. I like the blond, but it does get old after while.

I think dark brown would look nice. For some reason I usually think guys look better in darker hair.
