OMG. I can get the notes out and everything on my flute, but when it comes to being on pitch, it`s always wrong! Then when I do get on pitch, the next day I`m off pitch because it`s too uncomfortable. I know someone out there has had a problem with this. Help me. PLZ.

Maybe your flute needs to be tunned.

if every note you play is flat push in on the head joint, if they`re all sharp then pull out. if some notes are sharp and some are flat it`s probably the intonation of the flute or it could be that you`re not using a steady stream of air.

Okay, get your flute, get in front of this little thing called a tuner. Like Dave said, push in or pull out accordingly. It will not be the same the next time you play it because temperature affects the intunation of the instrument, just like whether or not you`re using steady streams of air. If you are a beginner, that could be it, because you know you can`t jsut pick up an instrument and be great at it, it takes some getting used to. If you aren`t a beginner then... you should know how to tune your flute without needing to ask strangers on a message board.
