Our show is a Latin theme, but it's not Malaguena or Ricky Martin *gasp!* We start with Mas Que Nada, then go into El Gato Triste, then a flippin' sweet piece called Pegasus, then Spain, which is a drum feature, then we conclude with Flight of the Condor. They're a lot of fun to play, and since they're short, they'll keep the audience's attention.

Ooh. so someone's doing king of the hills? HAHAHA..that's funny^_^. Hhmm. i'm doing Joy, Rebel Yell, I feel about u?, and the wind and the lion.
YEP! we don't do modern music. We do 80's..oh yeah! our B.D's favorite!

i know. it's really hard for new comers to march. And repeating the same thing, march, over and over again. And they need to get used to he 4 hour marching rehearsals. HAHA. i remember those days.
I'm so excited for the school year! well, the marching shows and stuff. Last year i got to watch the older kids do COOL shows, and now i'm in it. yahOO!! very exciting for me. haha.

Chuck Mangione is not the best musician in the world but he wrote fantasic music for marching band. I wonder if he still is writing music. We played "Legend of the One-Eyed Sailer." We rocked.

Were doing this show called "the hypar effect". It has all these exposed woodwind parts. It pretty awesome. I have a piccolo solo in the second song.

My HS is doing "Rhapsody in Black." It mixes Rhapsody in Blue with AC DC and Ozzy and "The Planets." It's pretty awesome, but the constant tempo changes make the dril almost IMPOSSIBLE to learn. It got better though, and our first show was 3 days ago.

My school is performing "The Music of Bernstein". Our pieces are "Overture to "Candide"", "Lonely Town", and "Tonight" from West Side Story.

Hehehe... it's my first year in marching band and we had a 6 1/2 hour band camp on the blacktop today, and now I have to go back there for 3 more hours.

"I'm thinking or arranging the Debussy Syrinx for marching band"

Wow, that should be interesting. If you get it done, you'll have to send me a recording.

Last Year we did Cirque Du Soliel's La Nouba...It was amazing show. We won NYSFBC (New York State Field Band Confrence) even though we're a pa band.
This year our show is called frosted glass, and It's a wintery show. It's going good so far
