Bah six days left on that one... It could easily go for well over $15!

Now if someone (read as YOU) were to take that flute home and treat it like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, then someone (again read as YOU :P ) would have a very nice $50 flute with only $200 time and materials invested!

I do wonder if you took that flute and replaced its body with a body from a Miyazawa and then replaced the head joint with a head joint from a Miyazawa what you'd have. Guess you'd only need a nice case then

ROFL.

Do you think I could sell my broken 1974 Gemeinhardt M2 as a "Vintage Instrument" and a "Unique Fixer Upper Opportunity"?

Ok so I am really late on this one! I wonder if you could really take a bundy, put a great headjoint on it, and maybe change the pads to some quality ones, and actualy make it sound good. I am not knocking Bundy as I made All-State on a nickel-plated one, AND beat out others with fantastic flutes. But really, who's smokin' the crack in this ad? I want to test this out. Maybe I'll have Straubinger pads put on a Bundy flute with my wonderful headjoint. Do they make open-hole bundys? LOL

Slogan - "Same great Bundy quality...now with open holes and a few metal shavings for added response and value!"
