ok.... *takes deep breath.....* I did a piano recital for a shop called bosendorfer pianos (if anybody has ever heard of it.... it is like SO much money for a piano... really fancy place) and i set a topic on it wishing luck and just yesterday my piano teacher said that I was invited to 3 recitals, a INTERNATIONAL COMEPETITION!!!! *takes deep breath again) and someone thought I was in 9th grade. Let me explain first..... there is a hard magnet school to get into called LVA (las Vegas Academy) and a teacher thought I went to another high school called Coronado......... SHE OFFERED ME A PLACE AT LVA!!!!! *squeals and runs around...* SHE SAID I COULD GET TRANSFERED AND SHE WAS GOING TO LET ME IN WITHOUT AN AUDDITION!!!!!! *squeals clapping* that is my DREAM high school i want to get into..... of course though im not in high school... *bows head ashamed* and i can't do the international competetition becuase i need to learn three pieces in 1 week.... it would be to hard...... BUT I GOT INVITED!!!!! i know this is about piano not flute but I'm just SO happy!!!!

wow! u must be reeeaaaaaal good! i checked out the 'About' section on the LVA webpage(googled lva), they have HIGH standards!.. maybe in a few years you might be able to get in.. and might even be much, no, A LOT better than what you can do now!.. time should tell

I recommend that you get a letter of recommendation from the LVA teacher. He/she might be gone from there by the time you are able to officially apply, but it should help your application process. Keep it in a safe place (but make a copy so you can read it often during times when you get a little discouraged).

Intermezzo in A major by Bach...... he's one of my FAVORITE composers..... i wish he didn't have so many off beats... you know what I mean.... weird counting becuase the left hand will play a note then the right hand then the left hand so on so forth......

I love Bach. IT is especially fun and tiring to play it on organ (after practicing it for an hour, my legs fell like I have run up and down many flights of stairs LOL)

I would love to hear it. Maybe Dennis knows how. I know he has a lot of his music loaded on a site. I will ask him the next time I talk to him.
