Lera's forum is actually quite nice. You just have to bear that her unique style of writing is a part of the site.

I think you could help me with my grammar too! I type so fast that I miss letters and such. It would really be helpful if there was a spell checker on here.

We all have our grammar muck ups. I was careful to write the grammar suggestions in MS Word before I posted. Catch many things that way

I am sorry to have had to shut down my site. It really wasn't seeing much activity, and I had not had time to update or write anything since college started. I am entirely consumed with practicing hours upon hours each day. I barely get time to write on here!

Micron, it's a pity taht the online spellchecker you mention is designed only for MS Explorer. I use Firefox since it became stable (a year ago, more or less), so I cannot install it.

Kara, I suppose you are using MS Explorer 5.0 or higher, it seems that the application requires that.

There are a few spellcheck extensions for Firefox in every language imaginable (even Gaelic!). Here is an English version (US; there is also Canadian English and UK English):

Thanks ninafire. I have downloaded the Foirefox extension and it underlines in red all my typos and mistakes. Right clicking provides spelling options and "add to dict." option. Really wonderful application.

Kara, Micron recommended spell checker is only for MS I.E or other browsers based on the IE engine, not for Firefox. It is probably the cause that it crashes your computer. But with the Firefox add-on, I think there is no more problem!

Dennis, anyway it's a wise thing to consider that time consuming activities can make us nuts when we can't do them the right way. Not doing is better than doing just for numbers. But still a pity not to fulfill my curiosity :-)

I don't use a spellchecker, but a good dictionary at:

It has been enough for my needs, although as a human being I continue to make mistake from time to time... :-)
