I am not sure if anyone here remembers me... I havent been about for a while..

I posted here some time ago asking about trading up to an intermediate flute from my Buffet Crampon 6020. Well......

I went on holiday to the US recently and thought I'd have a browse about through the yellow pages... found a quaint little music shop to visit, where I purchased an excellent condition 2nd hand Armstrong 305B.

With the exchange being as strong as it is at the moment, It worked out as about £200 and was worth every penny, I fell in love with it the moment it touched my lips.
Anyone in the UK will know how expensive a flute with anything more than silver plating can be over here!

I am in absolute awe at the beauty of the sound from this flute - such clear rounded notes and dont get me started about the beauty of the lower register...

Apologies but I just needed to share!!

(Please, someone say I'm not the only one who gets excited like this!!!)

Congrats on your new flute! No, you are not the only one that gets excited about these things. I must admit, I am just as bad. I love anything to do with flutes. It is a blast getting a brand new flute!
