It think you have a silver plated headjoint. The tenon is not silver plated and so is copperish in color. If you really don't like the look you can find inexpensive silver plated nickel headjoints (tenon is nickel colored) or solid silver headjoints.
For instance this place has very inexpensive used plated headjoints, you may want to note that you don't want any brown tenons :
