Beautiful melody and I find your sound superb.

I suppose you are not using a synthesized piano, or are you?

Who is the composer of the Fantasy in C moll?

Flutes-for-ever, it is a mp3 file, once downloaded, you should be able to listen to it with almost anything (Windows Media Player, burn a mp3 CD (I think the recording merits it) or you could even upload it to your Ipod (or any other portable mp3 player)... Good luck!

I do not know how your PC is configured, but normally, when you click on a link that is not a html (a WEB) page, your browser should start downloading the file automatically (so that it later can be read by the corresponding application)or otherwise ask you what to do before downloading it.

In my configuration and for this specific file, with Firefox as browser, it asks me if I want it saved to disk or opened with Windows media player. If I choose "save to disk" it will be saved somewhere (to the desktop if you have not defined a different folder for your downloads).

Once you know where the file is, you can instruct the application you want to use (in this case I suggest you use Windows Media Player, unless you have Linux or MAC) to open the file with File -->open--> (path of the file downloaded)

Most probably your PC has not been configured to open .mp3 files with some suitable application (such as Windows Media P.) and so it does not know what to do with it.

Depending on the OS you have, the assignment of the different file extensions (i.e. a .mp3 in this case) to the right application (program) that can open or play it) is done somewhere at the start-->settings-->control panel-->(whatever).

In Win2K (the one I use), it is done here: start-->settings-->control panel-->folder options-->file types. With other Windows OSs it can be slightly different.

Sorry it ended up being so long and complicated; sure it was too much off topic, but just trying to help. My excuses to other people here not interested or not needing these computer details.

Congratulations Jospe for this beautiful composition.

I suspected it was a synthesized instrument, but I thought it was a GPO. I am not much acquainted with higher quality virtual instruments like VSTs, but I am very interested and learning as fast as I can.

What music notation software did you use to write the piece and perform the accompaniment?

I used a program called Live. With Live you can work with both midi and live music.

Hey Jonte!
Beautiful tone and recording :-)

Being from sweden I guess you might have met Anders Chapelon, haven't you? He's a great flutist and professor.

cheers,

Zevang
