Greetings and Happy New Year!!!!

I'm interested in hearing any comments (positive and negative) regarding Trevor James alto flutes, especially the Performer Series model
TJ-AFP. I did a search of the forum but couldn't really find much of what I would call difinitive information regarding the reputation of Trevor James altos in general or this model in particular

Any and all comments would be most welcome! Thanks!!!

My old flute teacher had a TJ alto that played very nicely, though I am not sure which model she had (or even if it was some older model). Of course, the best way to learn about a prospective purchase is to play it. I personally prefer my Jupiter to her Trevor James (and a Yamaha to my Jupiter....Except for price-wise) simply because I feel the tone is easier to play with on mine, but you may very well find the TJ superior to all others in your price range.
