Ok today in band class we had a substitut teacher..... well he gave us a deminsteation on frazing (i dont no how to spell it)...... any way he asked someone to help him..... and of coures my stupidity kick in and i shot my hand in the air..... well he told me to thow a bucket at him so i did.... the first thow i hit were he told my to thow at (his chest).... well the second it he told me to throw it at it it hit him flat in the face..... has this ever happened to you....

why on earth would the sub ask for u to throw buckets at his chest? that is one weird teacher but probably an entertaining class. that is so... um...strange lol. i wish i could throw buckets at my band director, only, ha, wish it would be more like cannon balls. she's the devil

I have no idea why that would happen. I've never come across it. Usually, things we do in band actually relate to breathing and excerises, not throwing buckets at the teacher. *ponders* I must research teaching exercises where throwing a bucket is an acceptable, practical thing...

it was funny i dont know how it was about phrasing know one knew cause we were laughing sooo hard..... but hay i was mad that day and that mad me feel soo much better

...Which makes a whole lot more sense than throwing a bucket at someone's chest and face...

That is AWESOME...I've definitly fantasized about throwing some buckets at people...not necessarily substitutes...
Phrasing is how you shape a musical phrase....
And like the others, I have no idea how throwing a bucket can teach anyone HOW to phrase....
