have any of you heard about a vinci flutes i showed it to my old band teacher and all he told me is thAT THE CASE WAS LITE

I have never heard of Vinci, and they are certainly not one of reputable, name brand flutes we usually suggest. Chances are pretty good that they're a junk brand being imported (the names on these vary widely and are constantly changing, making it very difficult to keep track of them) at the moment. I would be extremely wary about purhasing one of these...Make sure to get a tech to inspect the instrument and comment on quality if you're looking at buying one, as many flutes of this type are such low quality that they can pose a major impediment to learning.
