Kara, is the barrel a size 4?
I would consider changing backup flutes from my Pearl if I could interchange headjoints with my Yamaha, as I do now with my Pearl. I am becoming quite attached to the light and speedy mechanism on my Yamaha.

Tibbie, yes I do think it is a size 4! *grin* I took off a Yamaha head from one of the flutes that I was selling and it fit this flute, I know they do vary though.
